The industrial revolution was a turning point for our nation. We became the most powerful and wealthy country on the planet, and in our haste to outgain and outbuild our fellow humans instead of helping them, we became a cancer. A virus upon humanity. We failed to look past the present generation, failed to think of our legacy and our childrens children. And underneath all of the economic growth and innovation that marked the turn of the century lurked all of the greed, racism, and coldness of men with no face, no name, no allegiance to anyone but themselves. We let these men put strings on everything and everyone on our planet. Our govenment, our healthcare system, our food supply, our infrastructure, our military, our many forms of media, the way we as a planet respond to disaster.... All play into a carefully orchastrated dance of deception. We arent supposed to be this way. But so many people are distracted from these truths that they wont even read past the first line of this. We have to wake up. We have to speak up. This shit is not over, not by a longshot.
