The inevitable has happened to me while riding on the Beltine. It was only a matter of time, I kept thinking...that a runner and I collided...going the same direction. He must be a noob to the Beltline, right? Or running even?! Could someone be so inconsiderate or ignorant to the fact that other people use it too, on other modes of transportation, travelling faster, to your left (usually)? Not this guy. He was floppy and unpredictable from the moment I saw him. Jogging down the middle, passing walkers. He starts to turn left (as if to turn around) as soon as Seth (and SnackPack) passed him. They both had to dodge each other. That was close! Im sure he thought. Well Ill just try my turn again, without looking behind me, while turning more abruptly and immediately after. CRASH! That was me on my bike. He wasnt even wearing headphones nor going in the direction he wanted to originally. Also, later that night, we pass a couple walking on Edgewood Ave and we heard the woman say, So thats what that lane is for: Bikes! *facepalm* *bumknees*
