The infrastructure in most of the Primary Schools in Manipur is pathetic. One cannot sure of getting proper education even though the teachers are well trained and well educated in such infrastructure. This is just one example and there may be many such schools in our state. There is no proper toilet, desk and bench, teachers room, principal room and office staffs. The parents send their children just to have some free time rather to learn something. The govt. needs to inspect all such schools and get at least proper infrastructure and make the school second home for both students and teachers. Special arrangement is being made in all schools as per direction of Honble PM. Special meal has been fed, TV and dish connection has been provided to witness live telecast of PM speech on this occasion. Let the foundation be strong enough so that we can mold the students in the stream which fits him the most. Happy Teachers Day.
