The initial rush that came from running up and down people movers whilst listening to New Order in Logan at 3 am has worn off, and Im now left with the sinking reality that Im going from 18 hours of travel yesterday and 4 tepid hours of sleep to being whisked straight away to work. As in literally. Ill be showing up to the office with luggage, a wine stain on my trousers, a far-away glassy look in my eyes, a pronounced limp from tripping down the stairs in the fascist restaurant, and no ID to actually get me into the building.
