The inspector general’s office has just released this report that confirms widespread scheduling corruption at the VA. It’s now perfectly clear we are failing our veterans--and we need to stand up and help them. Our veterans should come first. As your congresswoman, I’ll work day and night to ensure the Department of Veterans Affairs is responsive to our veterans, and I will work to hold those who have failed them accountable. My father-in-law died from a medical error at the VA, and today, three years later, my mother-in-law is still waiting for her survivor benefits. Trust me—I will take on the incompetence and corruption at the VA the minute I arrive on Capitol Hill. -e
