The insurance guy called! Just like we told them, they cant match the shingles because they are 25-35 years old. Now all we have to do is get the check from him and sign a roofing contract. Theyll get the permit and with that in hand, we get the temporary occupancy permit and can move back into our house!!!! Ill get to get a puppy, even though the one I wanted is already adopted, Ill find another. I am just so happy right now. The two low bids differ greatly on the extras that they may come across, but I think The lowest bid company is still the best bet. Theyre even going to throw in the section that was damaged by my neighbors tree falling on the roof. We still need to arrange time with our cousins to replank the deck and do some minor electrical and finish painting to get the full occupancy permit.
