The intensity and diversity of exercises in CrossFit - require participants to be BAREFOOT STRONG! I had THREE patients in my office today with CrossFit related injuries - all directly related to delayed protective response to the foot and ankle. If you want to CrossFit Im not going to say anything against it - but you must do other training that specifically targets foot to core stability and ENDURANCE of this stability. EBFAs Barefoot Programming offers a great way to build reflexive stability and faster core activation - which translates to decreased risk of injury and improved performance! Are you barefoot strong?
