The interesting thing about parenting is that children are always changing, so it is a good idea to frequently look at your approaches and boundaries and adjust them as needed. Little Cat usually has around 1 hour of TV time during the day, 3-5 times a week. We have gradually built up to this amount of time, and I still have a big say in his viewing materials. However, lately I have been noticing that this TV time is having a really negative effect on his behaviour. He seems more aggressive and has a lot of frustration and pent up energy after an hour of passive entertainment, and the negatives are far outweighing the positives. So we will once again be drastically reducing his screen time to just special occasions.
