The interim report issued today by the Inspector General for the Veterans Administration has indicated that there is a systemic scheduling problem across the Veterans Administration where inappropriate scheduling practices are being utilized. I have directed my staff to conduct a full review of the casework that involves our Veterans to see if any cases indicate that what is being reported at other VA hospitals has happened to anyone who has contacted my office seeking assistance with the Veterans Administration. If you are a First District Veteran, or know a First District Veteran, who has had an issue being able to get in to a VA hospital to see your doctor, please contact my office so we can assist and ensure that you are receiving the care you need in a timely fashion. Here are the numbers to my offices in the First District that you can call and visit with one of my staff to begin the process: Jonesboro Office: 870-203-0540, Sherrie Mitchell Cabot Office: 501-843-3043, Mark Thomsen Mountain Home Office: 870-424-2075, Joseph Didden You can also visit my website and submit your information about the problems you or others that you know have been experiencing: crawford.house.gov
