The introduction of HD and 3D Maya Technology in Pashto movie industry on the Eid ul Fittr in Jawargar movie by Shahid Films is a good initiative . However I observed something in the trailors available on the internet. The script is very poor as compared to the old Jawargar in Block and White. The proportion of virtuality in the 3D technology is more than reality. The culture presented has nothing to do with Pashtun society. The main role male cast is also the same Shahid Khan & Jahangir Khan who is more interested in stereotype symbols of Pashto films [dances, loud shouts , gun and sixty years old men in a college student role]. I dont know why youngsters like Babrak Shah or fresh talent is not given chance. Similarly why the producers dont let local genuine writers write the script for their movies. There are software firms in Peshawar who are doing editing and special effects for IMDb movies for Hollywood. Why dont our producers hire their services? This is a time when marketing should be done on electronic media, social media and via websites of the movies which needs a meager expense as compared to posters. I consider it criminal to ruin the beauty of the city by pasting third rate posters everywhere on the walls of houses and buildings.
