The introduction of Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval by the Boston Red Sox today shows that they are definitely on the prowl for a better season than that which they had in 2014. To be truthful, I am convinced now that this is going to turn in to something much bigger. With two of the most elite free agents in terms of offense now signed to the Sox, I see pitching coming over with no qualms. This could quickly turn into a free-for-all for the market as status for James Shields, Jon Lester, and Max Scherzer is still: Available. In addition to this, Cole Hamels also appears to be on the radar for this team. Name a pitcher who would be opposed to coming to a team that is built with offensive prowess going forward into next season, with upgrades at LF and 3B in both power / RBI and fielding ability? I see Lester as a major possibility here now that they have inked some help.
