The irony of politics and the misplaced faith that we, the citizens,tend to with naivety have in the system to provide for our needs and wants through the national budget,good governance and constitutionalism. 50 years after independence Zambians still expect the same tried and failed politicians to deliver on their campaign promises. Well my dear brothers and sisters the sad news is that they wont. These people have neither the respect for you as the person who gives them the mandate to plan how to use your money which you entrust to them through taxes and other contributions nor do at anytime care about the so called poor people. As a matter of fact the poor are merely tools for the politicians to behind as they move around with their bugging Bowles asking for money from the developed world to satisfy their selfish insatiable appetite for more money. What we need more than even the mythical constitution is a new type of political dispensation. One which is truly responsive to the needs of the communities in which all Zambians live through their active and meaningful participation from the level of the section,ward,branch through to the constituency for aggregation. This way the national budget will reflect the aspirations of the people wuzakile,kalikiliki and chamboli
