The issue of race has been brought to me in funny ways "I just dot like black people"-a cape verdian, native woman, "white people ruined my bi racial experience in Texas, better prepare your children"-white/black woman in Boston I get it. I really do. All the perspectives and narratives and cultural fukkery that occurs because of race. As a mondern irish Lithuanian Hungarian goddess pixiegypsy woman I just implore all of the inner divisions to hurl us in a solid bond of humanity. Race is as real as we make it. Iam not colorblind, I am so glad I see all the richness in all skintones and countries of origin, all bones. All souls. So please if you want to engage me in a convo about race thinking I will agree simply because I am "white" or because my kids are "black" or that ahem...ahem...was married to a "black" man for a decade or I can "dance good for a "white" girl or anything else..just be prepared for the filing sentence "colonialism is a muthaficka right?!" (And I know my white privilege factors into my experience, why u think I was born into this flesh this time round!!! Keep talking a out all OUR experiences and we wil see the unIversal divine bond we have.
