The issues run deep. It seems that many assume that African Americans in poverty stricken communities should respond to the same extent of Middle Class American communities. Of course this follows an unspoken assumption that all socioeconomic variables between the two are equal. This just might be the most consistently ridiculous idea Ive seen thrown around today. But then again, Im not surprised. Its hard to relate to something youve never experienced.
