The journey continues. For those asking about how I am - Im moving forward, but each each day is an unknown quantity. Its surprising how we take for granted the familiarness (I know thats not a word) with which we expect our day to unfold; but not to so when you live with grief. There are moments you cope far better than you expect and there are instances when a tiny thing unpicks all your stitches and you realise you have hardly moved anywhere at all. The people who constantly check in with me, with us, who also have their own pain to manage, are helping to create and forge deep and lasting memories of a road well travelled, one on which we will be able to look back and see the benefit and Ive been through enough situations to know that this is one such time where this particular journey will bear testimony to I wouldnt have understood that except in this hard place. No pressure - no diamond! Yesterday I did my first public show and Simons absence was acutely felt. facebook/riverfordmidandwestglamorgan (our business) is just not so sparkly without his magnetic charm - and yesterday was a bit like setting off, excited at expecting to arrive in Paris but ending up in Holland. Holland has great things too - we just have to learn to appreciate them and let the idea of Paris go. This is indescribably hard.
