The key Word for today is BE THANKFUL! BE THANKFUL that God, our Father in Heaven, makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 5:45). God has, at some time or another, blessed the just, as well as the unjust, with food, shelter, clothing, homes, jobs, family, friends, toys, or even fame and fortune. What great love He has for His creation! BE THANKFUL that it is the will of God that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3rd John, verse 3). It is His will that we live prosperous and healthy lives; but, this is not first and foremost with God. He is more concerned with the state of your soul and that your soul prospers! In Matthew 6:31-33 , we are told to Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, where will we get clothes?...for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. BUT seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. What blessing it is that we dont really have to think about things being provided for us, if we really believe and receive and do what our loving Father God tells us to do. God has already provided everything that we have need of through His Word. Every day is a day to be THANKFUL! It is His will that we BE THANKFUL at ALL times, not FOR everything, but IN every thing! In EVERY THING give THANKS: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1st Thessalonians 5:18). His Word is His Will for our lives! We just have to line up with it and BE THANKFUL!
