The key Word for today is SEE! If things are not put in - TopicsExpress

The key Word for today is SEE! If things are not put in their proper perspective, it is possible that men would SEE other men as trees. An example of such is found in Mark 8:22-25 where a blind man was brought forth for Jesus to touch. Jesus applied spittle to his eyes, laid hands on him, and asked IF HE SAW ANYTHING. The mans response was: I SEE men as trees, walking. After that he put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Jesus recognized that had he allowed the man to remain in the state of SEEing men as trees, he would go throughout life treating men like trees. That is what happens when real, Godly love is not shown between spouses, companions, or even children. It causes one to SEE and treat the other as a thing instead of what was intended, having taken the relationship out of its Godly sphere; and the thing loses its THANK value and the Godly purpose of the relationship is misconstrued, disoriented, and confused. God is not glorified in such relationships because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were THANKFUL; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools (Romans 1:21,22). In other words, this is what happens when men fail to SEE God as the only wise, all-knowing God and Creator of this entire universe, who is everywhere at the same time, and who has and gives all power to whomever He chooses. They become fools, doting on themselves and going off on imagination trips that promote their own selfish pleasures, with no serious thought of God, because they are blind, walking in darkness. They become fools because, if they knew God as God, they would be casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and would be bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and would then have a readiness to revenge all this disobedience, when your (their) obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:5,6). Surely, there are few exceptions to having played the fool! THANK HIM, RIGHT NOW that He has not let you die in your sinful, imaginative state; because, if you are alive and reading this message, God has extended you another chance to glorify Him and to change your mind and become wise in your obedience to His perfect will for your life! DO YOU SEE ANYTHING?!
