The key to successful filmmaking is like finance: you have to diversify. All production companies that thrive have multiple projects in various stages of development at all times. This is what Ive been preparing and working my way towards with my shorts. However, as a small independent self-owned company I have to choose just one feature film idea to start with and focus on exclusively. So its a decision Im not taking lightly. Your first feature film is critical because it has the potential to define and even possibly label you, especially as a female director. Im 90% decided on what my first feature is going to be. And my choice will likely surprise you. Once the decision is made 100% youll be the first to know because it will happen quickly. In the meantime however Im thrilled to announce that FOUND and The Dancer & The Boy are scheduled to be completed and on the film festival circuit by the end of the year and Fragile Storm by the end of February. 2015 is going to be epic. :-)
