The kids and I ventured down for a taste test. First stop... The Culinary Experience for a chicken bacon Caesar salad wrap and warm and hearty loaded baked potato soup. Both were amazing. Next we tried fried cheese curds with bacon ranch dip and Mary stood in a long line waiting for chicken-fried bacon from The 3rd and Ferry Fish Markets offerings. While waiting, we watched them prepare many huge servings of bacon fries smothered in a garlic aioli. They looked soooo yummy! The bacon was worth the wait... And the line moved rather quickly. After we tried chocolate coated bacon. This was not a favorite... Especially at $5 a slice. On our way out, I saw pork belly lollipops from Grumpys. This was definitely one of our favorites today. Especially at just two dollars a pop (no pun intended)! We picked up a couple of mini apple pies topped with bacon, of course. There is so much more to see and do and eat well be going back tomorrow. I hear its supposed to be warmer too.
