The kids each got one of those personal pizzas for doing their reading goals at school. On the way home with the pizzas I told them I was going to take a parent tax (weve talked about taxes before, what their used for etc...). The conversation proceeds to what you have to pay taxes for etc... When I tell them that you even pay taxes when you die, my eight year old says that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. How do you respond to something so true? It really is amazing how we allow ourselves to be taxed so much. Out of the mouths of babes... At least the lady checking out at the grocery store buying over $300 in expensive zero nutritional value food with her EBT card can ride home in style in her 2012 Yukon. Ill just hop in my 23 year old car, go home, and collect my pizza tax from my kids free pizzas that they earned at school.
