The kind of camera you use doesnt determine how good a photographer you are. Its your ability to see and translate a scene into good image that makes you a photographer. Choice of lighting, composition and subject are the ingredients and the photographer is the chef that needs to put them together to create a good photograph. Just because the guy next to you has a top of the range or a more expensive camera than you do, it doesnt make him a better photographer. If you asked William Shakespear what pen he used it wouldnt be anything special or have any bearing on the reason for him writing really good plays.
