The kindness and generosity of others is what this season is all about. Our youth participates of the Wheeler Terrace after school program were so fortunate this year because they received presents and gifts from one of DCs premier youth advocacy organization; Advocates for Youth. Advocates for Youth adopted 39 youth and provided each of them with items from their holiday wish list. The kids received everything from books to bikes. Advocates for youth also went above and beyond by hosting a silent auction on behalf of the organization and donated in addition $467. Thank you to all of the Advocates for Youth staff who joyfully embraced our kids and those individual donors, we are forever grateful for your contribution to our cause.
