The lack of ethics and integrity of people in business these days amazes me. We had someone order/pay for a service package from us. After a lot of back and forth, for reasons unrelated to us, he said Thursday before the long weekend he wanted a refund. He was told it would be processed early this week. It was confirmed to him today - and which he acknowledged just a few hours ago - that the refund was being processed. In the meantime, he submitted a chargeback with his credit card company. This makes me furious. Not only have we wasted time and dealing with the costs/headaches but now were incurring more time wasted on this plus the costs of the chargeback.
