The lack of response by Mr. Turkelson is deafening. This new transparency is unlike anything our previous prosecutor Mr. Konschuh subscribed to. He had a very visible physical presence in this community. He was also very vocal and informative about what was going on. Whether people agreed with decisions that were being made or not, we were a much more informed community. Not so any longer. For the first time ever, prosecutor office files are closed to the defense, secretive interviews to hire friends for more money than typically allowed with the support of the Board, and the Board itself not only refusing to engage with the very people theyre supposed to be acting as fiduciaries for, but allowing substantial amounts of our money to be spent on something merely amounting to a difference of opinion and should have been handled administratively. One thing is for sure, we need Judge Konschuh back on the bench ASAP. This experience has to give someone a new perspective. He is aware of the tactics and injustices happening in this county....unfortunately for him its first-hand. This community needs to do some House Cleaning.
