The ladies just love a man in uniform! Another sailorboy has landed. Tonight we welcomed Spike who was loved so much by his Mommy, Kathy Lauer. Spike had spent some time in the hospital trying his hardest to fight off bad things that invaded his body. He finally accepted the Bigger Plan and knew it was time to move to the Rainbow Bridge. Spike hated to leave his mom but he knows she will be ok because she has all of you to help her through this very sad time. Ozzie and I had 2 surprises waiting for Spike. He was so happy to see Skippy, who was wagging her tail with excitement. Skippy is the fur daughter of our beloved Auntie Marian Petrides. Skippy has a very special love for Spikes mom....she was the one who rescued her from the dog pound and she took special good care of her until she was able to go to her furever home. Skippy and Spike were woofing about their love for Kathy. Our next surprise for Spike was his very own sailboat, complete with his name spelled out in nautical flags. A tear came to his eye when he saw this. Its a good thing he packed his life jacket! After choosing a star from the star factory, Spike hung it high in the sky so his Mommy can see that he is watching over her forever. Spike then took Skippy with him and they ran to Rainbow Lake . They hopped on his boat and sailed away for a dinner cruise. Ahoy Mates! BELIEVE!
