The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come (Deuteronomy 11:10). After forty years of wandering in the desert, the Israelites were not familiar with cultivating crops. Even their knowledge of Egyptian agriculture, which relied on slave labor and the Nile for irrigation, would provide little help. In their new home, God himself would provide water for their fields and vineyards, as long as they continued to trust Him to do so. Times of transition can be difficult, but if we rely on God, He will help us navigate each new season of life. - 7:14 Devotion
