The last 2 1/2 weeks have been an emotional roller coaster, Brenda sick and in the hospital and having her chest worked on. Pneumonia, seeing her miserable and sick and out of my power to help her has been tough. She will be getting out in a few days, but it makes me realize the pain folks have when their love ones go into the hospital and not come out. I am not ashamed to admit that I have been on the edge of tears for over two weeks. Im not asking for sympathy, just trying to release the built up anguish, she is the one I lean on when I have emotional needs, and now she needs me. A lot of you on my list are friends and family and some barely know me, but for now you are my emotional crutch. You would think and old longtime cop and career soldier would be tough, but somewhere I got a soft heart and over active tear glands. Thanks to her daughters and Grandkids she has plenty of support. Mandy is staying tonight and keeping an eye on her. The hospital staff has been great.I am worn out and am rambling. Thanks
