The last 2 months fatigue has made it impossible for me to go on my walks and jogs. I have zero energy to get off the couch most days. It takes me hours to get up and get dressed. I cant think about anything beyond the immediate moment.My memory is shot. I get lost driving through the same city, to the same houses that I have been doing everyday for years. My legs are stiff and it hurts to walk. I still lose my balance and my train of thought. All of this is damage from chemo. I share this with you because so many people wont get a colonoscopy. A colonoscopy is less invasive or embarrassing than the side effects of chemo. I cant chase after my son if he runs in the street Its hard to keep up with him. I cant tie his shoe and LaFayette has to open everything for me. Although my form of cancer is hereditary, 1 in 20 and you could be me. so do yourself a favor and go get electronically sodomized. they give you a muffin and orange juice when youre done :)
