The last 2 nights I got to watch Ben Roy headline at the Dead Crow Comedy Room I suggest if he is ever near you go see this guy not only is he hilarious hes a genuine good person off stage. I had the pleasure of watching him be the last comic at Nutt Street before the doors had to close and to say he made it memorable would be an understatement. Watching him come back tonight and seeing him in May for the cape fear comedy festival was great the pure energy he pushes out on stage to the audience is amazing the ability he has to make you question the social norms and his willingness to open up to a room full of strangers is awe inspiring. Wilmington you are lucky you have a great comedy club that brings this type of talent they may be slightly left of the fame radar but a lot of them are screaming their way towards it dont be the person who misses the chance to see the next big thing in an intimate basement setting. Thanks Timmy and Cole Todo El for giving us a new place for wayward and broken people to come make jokes and enjoy life!
