The last 24 hours: its getting increasingly difficult to get the pills in Aphro. My fingers are too short and her beaky muzzle is too long. She wont take the pills in anything so I force them in. Yesterday I was so beat I could hardly talk. Blood sugar low because I was too tired to eat. Dog groomer came late and left late so I couldnt nap, which I needed to do. So I think I gave Aphro her pills 4 hours too soon. All night I kept checking to see if she was alive. Then I couldnt give her the next dose because I think I overdosed her. She has had no medicine except the liquid one all night. Doesnt seem to be in pain. We slept until 10 am! The dogs still refuse dry dog food, even without treats. I stopped one of her meds because she didnt eat yesterday and hasnt touched her food today and that pill can cause inappetance. I am calling neuro to see what plan b is. Ive only had her home a couple of days and it knocked me on my butt. The next dog needing surgery is getting put down.
