The last 3 days and nights, I have been blessed to witness the most amazing grace, love, faith, hope and the most amazing strength during one of the absolute most difficult life trial Ive ever experienced at the side of the #Newcomb family- Anita Lett Newcomb and Brad, Terrie Lett Allen, Courtney Newcomb, and the rest of the family and caring friends. Though this was a total, unexpected, unprepared tragedy of the devil, Gods love prevailed. Though this was the most difficult, heartbreaking trauma any family could experience-God is close to the broken-hearted and is with you, as he was with Brittany these last 24 hours. The peace of God which passes all knowledge was there. Gods holy presence was with Brittany, no doubt. And though WE didnt get our prayers answered the way WE wanted them...prayers were answered. And continued heartfelt prayers are coveted for this precious, beloved family...I join the hundreds of you as I continue to pray for Gods supernatural peace that we cant explain be upon you in the months to come...and I continue to give God glory and worship Him... No matter what we go through- God is still good. God is still God. We continue to praise Him, and draw near to Him, and love Him. No matter what. Dont loose hope. Cling to it. He is good! He is love! And oh, He is peace. He left His peace here for us. And it covered Brittany in a beautiful, godly way. I was there when it fell upon her. I will attempt to describe it for you through mere words, with the intent to bring you who are grieving, a different picture of her last 24 hours on this earth before passing into the arms of Jesus... As the family was encircled around her, and we prayed over her, a supernatural anointing fell upon us...and the glory of the Lord came down and rested upon Brittany in a tangible, REAL, way. The atmosphere was charged with His holy presence, and Brittanys countenance changed. A peace came over her...a beautiful, peaceful, joyous expression came on her, around her eyes, forehead, and beautiful lips that are forever smiling with laughter and joy... At this time, I believe that Brittanys spirit was hovering above her body, and she was beholding the breathtakingly beautiful entrance of Heaven, hearing the celestial choirs of angels singing Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God almighty... Worthy are you, Our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they exist and are created And Brittany, her spirit, now in the spiritual realm no longer here where we are in the physical realm, I believe beheld the same view John describes in Revelations 4... I saw a throne in heaven...with jasper, and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald...and a sea of glass, like crystal... And then she was able to see the streets of pure gold that It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal, shone with the glory of the Lord... and behold, she saw myriads and myriads and thousands and thousands of angels and heard them say Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing...(Rev 5:11-13)... She got that glorious glimpse of the TRUE heaven, and heard the heavenly songs of angels praising God...and saw Jesus, her Lord and Savior...and a choice was given to her to stay...or return back to us here...and though seemingly in the distance, she heard her mommas voice, and her daddys voice calling her back saying come back...we love you... and she heard her best friend and treasured sisters voice calling her back...she was in the presence of her Lord...and the peace of the Lord just fell upon her...it was a beautiful, intimate, holy moment to witness... She chose to stay. And that is where she is now. Fully alive. With her Lord and Savior, healed and whole, happy, pain free, and at peace. Walking streets of gold, Gods princess...praying for each of you to use your limited days here on earth to get things settled with your eternal destiny as well, hoping you, like her, will choose life...REAL LIFE IS WITH CHRIST. This is not our home, we are only passing through. God says Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. (John 14:1). From all I heard and read the last 3 days about Brittany from many of you-she was selfless, compassionate, loving, fun, kind, REAL. She had many of the same attributes of God actually...I would not imagine that she would want any of you to doubt Gods love, especially when she is in His presence now with all the angels and saints who have gone before us...so as hard as it is right now....trust God. Have faith in God. We dont understand it all...thats where the faith comes in. Love one another. Share stories. Exchange memories. Support one another. Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fade-less under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy ([a]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth]. For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect). But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as [e]in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand [f]fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been [g]fully and clearly known and understood [[h]by God]. And so faith, hope, love abide [faith—conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope—joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love—true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:4-13) (If you are unsure what Heaven looks like-its not what the world tries to portray it as...and contrary to many peoples opinion and wrong thinking, not every one goes to heaven when they die. Only those who accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, and who have said the prayer of salvation, repented from past sins, and RECEIVED Christ, as Brittany has done, will enter into the Kingdom of heaven. She would want nothing more than for you to be with her again in her eternal home of choice. But it is a choice. God gives us each the choice: Life or Death. Blessing or Curse. Choose Life! (Deuteronomy 30:11-20.) Id encourage you to look up Revelations 21... though 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells us there are no words to accurately describe what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him. )
