The last couple of weeks has been such a crazy roller coaster ride and I haven’t had the time to update my Facebook so I hope you guys are ready for my next essay…where to start??? I guess for starters I want to thank my most beautiful bridesmaids for organising an epic hens getaway in Aitutaki. Not wanting to sound conceited but it was hands down best hens party EVA! Meitaki atupaka to everyone else that was also involved in making the trip amazing, most especially to the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort and Spa for having us stay with you and to Air Rarotonga for allowing me to fly the plane JOKES…I just got to sit in the cockpit on our way back from Aitutaki - still pretty amazing though :):):). Secondly, I want to thank everyone who came along to celebrate mine and John’s wedding. After nine years my best friend and I officially tied the knot on the 18.12.14. The wedding was everything John and I had imagined - on the beach with close family and friends (a few randoms here and there but what the hell that’s a typical island wedding for you), amazing food (thanks to Ariki Cafe), lots of dancing, singing and laughter and off course Grant’s knock out speech. The whole year I had been freaking out about your speech then what do you know, you deliver a speech worthy of a Golden Globes Award. And to my BuBu, Miss Charlene Von Hoff - you’ve never been one to give a public speech but you did for me and you made me cry like a baby. Thank you also to my family and friends who travelled from Tahiti, Australia and New Zealand to come and party with John and I. Also to our parents for showing us so much love and patience. All in all it was so much fun and I couldn’t believe how quickly it went. John and I made sure to steal moments to ourselves throughout the night to soak it all in. So since the wedding we’ve witness a domino effect - I guess John and I want to say “YOU’RE WELCOME” LOL. No but seriously CONGRATULATIONS to the newly engaged couples Leilani Sadaraka and Brendan and to Switzerley and Ryan Short. My sidders Leilani I couldn’t be more happier for you cos Reirei’s dad is such a cool dude. Ryan Short and Switzerley thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day yesterday, you guys makes a beautiful couple. 2014 has definitely ended on a HIGH. Forgive me if Ive forgotten anyone and for also not having time to thank everyone individually.
