The last day for boating this year is October 31st. The lake is full so take advantage of the nice weather. Boating will begin in the Spring as soon as the ice is off of the lake. Lakeside Campground will be closing October 26th for the season. It will reopen April 1st. Pelican, Fox Hills and Northview campgrounds are open year round. Hunting has been good for waterfowl. Small game is also in abundance. Lots of animals in the park that may interest wildlife viewers. There are no special events planned for this late fall and winter. We will be celebrating our 50th year as a State Park next year so look for special events celebrating this milestone.
