The last day in Chiang Mai, we had a bad experience with one of the fairly new acquaintances we met in Chiang Mai. This person who shared Christmas with us, who we welcome into our home and into our lives turned out to be one of the worst people we have ever met. Roger and I are still trying to get over the nasty email he sent to us with the following: you are liars, deceives, dishonest, deceitful, NON Christians with little or no ethics and yet you claim God and Jesus in your lives... how bad and evil you really are. We wish you both the very worst live has to offer because you both deserve it.Please please NEVER come back to Chiang Mai. All this over some spices he ASKED me to give him if I did not take them with me. I did pack and sent to AMERICA all of my spices. He got upset because I gave a couple of things to a good friend along with a toaster oven and a deep fryer. When I offered him the toaster oven, he declined with the excuse of: I am not sure where I am going to be...here in Chiang Mai, or PI. His young girlfriend is from PI. A case of miscommunication! Imagine the nerve to ask Ivory if I had given her my spices. I gave a jar of Puertorican seasoning and a half empty jar of Rosemarry leaves to this woman, salt and pepper, but NOT MY SPICES. However, Ivory answered YES. He ASSUMED I had given her all my spices. What kind of person writes something like this over some spices?...One would think that living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, you would have a couple of extra BAHT (Thai currency) to buy spices. Why did he want my stuff? Imagine our shock when we read such a nasty email. This description of us does not match who were are. I have shared this email with friends and their replies are of shock; disbelief and more. Those of you who know me, know very well that THIS IS NOT ME and THIS IS NOT ROGER either. God help this poor soul, I cannot!
