The last day of Hajj is a great test for the elderly. women and weak and sick pilgrims. The European tents are located close to the boundary of Mina , so the pilgrims would need to walk for over 2km before they reach the Jamaraat. The air-conditioned tunnels have made it much easier to do the pelting after Zawwal time. It is Sunnah to pelt from after Zawwal. the floor escalators on the last day is not operational. It is advisable for the elderly and weak to pelt about an hour after Asr. The next challenge was the walk in the scorching heat from the Jamaraat to either your tent in Mina or towards the Haram in Makkah.
