The last few days have marked the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Pres. Kennedy; what most people dont know is that I was at Love Field airport in Dallas & shook his hand, just 30 minutes before he was gunned down in downtown Dallas. I learned of his getting shot when my uncle & cousins dropped me back off at my house after leaving the airport. It was very traumatic to find out that a man that I had just shaken hands with, was suddenly dead! One of my cousins did NOT shake his hands because she was trying to take a close up picture of him. & Jackie as they got up to us, bu a TV camera caught her as she was trying to take the pic--the weird thing was that the newsreel that had her on it, but it also showed a shotgun being pulled inside from a window in downtown Dallas. That film strip was only shown a couple of times before it was taken off the air!
