The last few weeks have been so crazy. My sweet Mom had a staph infection in her only good leg, so that was scary as hell and we spent some time in the ER daily for IV antibiotic treatments. I got in another accident on the freeway. Some asswipe rear ended the car that was 2 cars behind me(we were all stopped) and caused a 5 car accident. Thankfully nobody was hurt. My NEW car was only slightly damaged on the front end and the rear end has about $1400 worth of damage. It could have been so much worse. Ive also been dealing with numbness in my hands for months, so the Dr. ordered a nerve conduction study. The results were no bueno. I have permanent nerve damage in my right hand from my sucky arthritis. Im scheduled for surgery on both of my hands this Friday. Heres the deal though, Im still happy as a clam. My Mom is fine, my car will be fixed and I still have use of my hands (just sensation loss).These type of inconveniences (my Mom is never an inconvenience, but you know what I mean) only make me realize how fortunate I am. I am grateful for the love and support of my family, friends and mostly my sweetheart, Russ. Oh, and Im grateful for modern medicine. Also, thanks to my sister Joni at Love Train Cycle & Fitness Studio for my Yoga practice! LIFE IS GOOD!
