The last month has been incredible! I have met so many kind Taylor citizens! I know that some people like to focus on the negative aspects of our city, but, I have seen and experienced firsthand so many positive things and people that the City of Taylor has to offer. The Taylor Fall Fest shows that there are awesome vendors who like to give back to the community. Heritage Park is an absolute gem. I participated in the Fish and Loaves golf fundraiser and it was a great time. Karen Salomone and the rest of the Fish and Loaves volunteers make a huge impact on so many families. Lisa and I had a great time at the Taylor Reading Corps fundraiser! I attended the Trade Union Leadership Council Charity Outing with UAW International Rep (retired) Don Schnur and Bahati Jaha, retired Administrative Assistant to former President Bob King. The Rotary Clubs Turn Off the Violence event and Team Dominator day were both inspiring. Working with Pound Pals for a successful Adoption Day at the Taylor Animal Shelter was great. At all of these events, the one constant thing I saw was that there are a lot of people in Taylor who care, not about themselves, but about others and our Community. It makes me proud of our City and excited about the chance to serve as its next Judge.
