The last status was not meant to end there--lol! (Sleep deprivation is a funny thing!) peak moment yesterday--Jon responding to his sisters! Hailey, Hannah, and Holland all paid him a visit and he opened his eyes. It was beautiful. The night, however, was not so great. He was in extreme pain, had a fever, and was pretty agitated throughout the night. (My dear friend, Shannon, picked a bad night to stay with me--we only slept for a couple of hours.) Today, the doctor witnessed Jons response to commands and was pleased. He said that Jon appears to be emerging from his coma and we can now work on getting rid of the breathing tube! Praise God!!! PLEASE PRAY FOR: 1.) Continued response to commands leading to his wake up from the coma 2.) pain to be alleviated, 3.) optimum brain function, and 4.) overall healing for my boys traumatized body. Today I am exhausted, but hopeful. Your prayers continue to carry me through...
