The last thing on my mind when I got up this morning was that I would have to stomp on a pit bulls head to get it to let go of my dogs leg. Let me tell you, if you are out walking in Lincoln, NE, or walking your dog, dont do it without pepper spray. I escaped injury, just got my pant leg bitten, but my dog had to get a lot of stitches and the bill from the vet is astronomical. All because some sorry troglodyte hard-luck cases couldnt be bothered to fix the gate on their yard fence. Wide open. This all happened a block from their house. Once I got the dogs separated, a clueless twelve-year-old finally showed up to take the pit bull and the two other dogs home. At the animal hospital, Animal control Officers came and took pictures of my dogs injuries and to take my testimony on what happened. Now they go to talk to the owners of the other dogs. I will take them to court and try to get some kind of payback but, like i said, they are meth-billy ghetto types and I probably wont get a thin dime out of them. They have a fleet of little electric cars that actually drive for all the toddlers in the house, and an above ground pool. They live at 28th and T. Northeast corner. There need to be harsh, very harsh laws on the books for dealing with irresponsible assholes like this. As it is now, there are more irresponsible pet owners out there than responsible ones. Just to walk my dog (on a leash) I have to change routes all the time to avoid dogs run loose because of their idiot owners. Incredible. Do any of you know what happens now in a case like this?
