The last time Vampire Diaries viewers saw Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt), the two of them were ready to embark on the road trip of a lifetime after graduating and surviving a land mine explosion. Moreover, they had finally kissed after months worth of passion building up between them. So where will Season 5 find the sweetest human in all of Mystic Falls and his Original lady love? The CW has released an interview with Zach, in which he previews Matt’s role in the upcoming season and his relationship with the “hottest vampire on TV.” He explains how Matt is scared to speak up he says Press play in the video below out what’s in store for his character and prepare to have your heart melt at the sight of his glorious blue eyes!
