The last two days at the tide pools have been insane! We had an octopus sighting so I went over to check it out, he had gone under the rock so I put my sunglasses in the water. He promptly grabbed my glasses with all of his tentacles. Which led to a tug of war between us. It is incomprehensible how strong an octopus can be. He won the first two round of the tug of war, but I won the third and got my glasses back. I had my coworker stick her hand in the pool because she didnt believe that there was a octopus there and she promptly screamed when he wrapped his tentacles around her hand. He hung out there for three hours playing with us. I had work the next day and went to go check if he was still there. He immediately latched onto my hand and I almost pulled him out of the water trying to get my hand back. Each day is a pretty rad and beautiful day of work and I couldnt think of a more rewarding job. Sadly because of glare no pictures turned out well.
