The last two weeks were very busy, interesting and learnfull. I have met up with the tenkara guides from France, Tenkara Pyrenees, Misako Ishimura a good friend of mine, the writer of the first English book about Tenkara and a good casting instructor, besides that the very first European Tenkara Convention took place in Trysil. Tenkara times from Czech Republic, Tenkara Centre UK, Tenkara Norge, Tenkara Pyrenees and Jacco van den Berg showed up with tackle, guiding information and showed us how to ty tenkara flies. A very good weekend where the base was build for a solid network between a lot of bussinesses that are involved within tenkara in Europe. I had a lovely time meeting everyone and the plans are there to cooperate with the French from Tenkara Pyrenees to organise the next Convention in France! But so far these are plans but we will keep you updatet about the when and where!
