The last week has been difficult for me and working on this page and reconstructing my blog has helped me so much. If you visit this page regularly you may recall that in April I announced the passing of my familiar Nimitz. It was sudden and a very hard time for me. Last week Nimitzs brother Lexus went to join him in the Summerlands. His passing was less of a shock because hed not been well but it still hurts tremendously. He and his brother had been together since birth and part of me believes that Lexus started to give up after losing his brother. Lexus was a diva right until his last day and I wouldnt have wanted him any other way. Now he and Nimitz are together again. Im sure Lexus is already over it and has found a sunny spot to sleep while Nimitz, Im sure, is off slaying a dragon or protecting the innocent. 18 years was absolutely not enough but Im grateful that the powers that be saw fit to bring these wonderful creatures into my life. Travel well, stay out of trouble and remember mommy loves you. Until we meet again....
