The late Lonnie Falk was UPI Man at the Scene when Lunar Receiving Lab returned with Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins after Apollo 11 (first landing on the Moon). NASA popped the astronauts into this thing on the carrier, which picked them up for fear they would bring space germs back from the moon. We used the walkie-talkie (borrowed from UPI Newspictures folks) even though the whole thing was on closed circuit feed from NASA. Looked impressive, at least.
