The late Protasio Ayigihugu of Ayigihugu Advocates is going to be laid to rest at his home in Mbalwa tomorrow. You cant mention Mbalwa today without mentioning Ayigihugu. This is a person who relocated to Mbalwa when it was still called a bush. He bought acres and acres of land there where he gathered his family. Ayigihugu despite being a prominent lawyer, everyday before going to his office he first went to his garden to dig. He loved farming and almost all food to feed his family was got from his garden. If am not mistaken,He is one person I know with over 100 children and over 200 grandchildren but all eating well and going to nice schools. I remember way back when i was working for HOTLOAF bakery, Ayigihugu used to buy 20 loaves of bread for his family everyday. He would also take a crate of packs of milks(payinta)...Good he has educated many of his children and nurtured them to carry his firm forward. By the time of his death, three of his sons who studied law were working under his firm. These are: Kwizera Ayigihugu Denis,Nsengiyunva Deus, and Nionzima Vianne. He leaves a landmark not only in the judiciary but also in the entire society of Kira town council. RIP senior counsel
