The latest information I have for you is as follows. While the track of the secondary system is not set in stone, and could still shift, it appears that a line from Milwaukee into the Burlington area and south will see the brunt of the action tomorrow. Timing as of now would be anywhere from 11 AM to 2 PM to start as rain, and change to a heavy wet snow, with accumulations of anywhere from 1 to as much as 4 at near lake locations. Other areas north of said line will still have a chance for rain, and some light snow, but far less, if any accumulation. The good news with it all is that with temps staying mainly above freezing, including most roadway temps, it will have a harder time lasting on the roads, and with salt going down, conditions wont be as severe. It will still be a hazardous situation in some places, but the conditions wont last too terribly long either. The further south and east you go, the worse things will be though. I will have another update with any changes at the usual morning time, and just keep in mind....another shift of track, which is always possible, would mean a large shift in coverage area, and even snow totals. This one has been tough from the start, but Im trying to nail it down in time to give you all fair warning for holiday traveling tomorrow. If you can reach your destination, or plan to, before noon, that would be the best and safest scenario, and then plan to remain long enough for conditions to improve late in the evening. Please check back in the early AM for the latest and most valid details... Safety first...make wise decisions tomorrow. Thursday shows much improvement...
