The latest jokes from real life in surreal Greece: In his speech to the New Democracy party the prime minister announced that now Greeks feel safe! is this why we still suicide en masse? The second joke in the same speech was that the responsibility for our current situation lies with the political parties which have NOT governed,taking to the streets- A particularly significant message for the public of a democratic country supposedly electing governments to rule and to take responsibility.I think it was not a funny speech.Unfortunately all existing private TV channels are supportive of the current disgrace and are all merrily commenting, waiting for the new taxes and the new redundancies.
