The latest (possibly the biggest story yet) on the NSA - TopicsExpress

The latest (possibly the biggest story yet) on the NSA Surveillance program. This evokes more questions than answers. First being about the actual international legal implications of unwarranted surveillance of every citizen outside the U.S. jurisdiction....never mind the Americans, what about the rest of the world? The violations conducted with this are beyond measure and obviously a larger chore to conduct and upkeep (with mass data collection and storage) This is to what end? Keep tabs on their allies? I do not buy the fear mongering justification that it is to find terrorists....what about the commercial value (and abuse of power)?.... Then there is the whole issue of ethics and morals and what gives them the right to invade everybody´s privacy? .....Another question though... If XKeyscore exists, what other programs have been invented then with the same or similar capabilities? Who is in charge of them?.... What about smartphones? What programs exist within their realms already that can infiltrate and invade through security systems without leaving a footprint? (I know the technology exists already and has for a long time. Our personal medical files are not safe from being hacked either) When and how is the rest of the world to be informed of all these dangers and who/what government is the most dangerous with these technologies at their fingertips???? Silent surveillance terror..........but who is the terrorist here?
