The law of God is spiritual and I am carnal, sold under sin. Those things that I do I dont want to and those that I should do, I dont and what I hate is what I do. But, I dont do those things on my own because I know the law is good; but its sin that dwells in me and in me dwells no good thing. I want to do right all the time, but how to do it, I cant find. The good that I want to do I dont and I do evil instead. So then theres another law aside from the spiritual and that is, when I would do good, evil is present with me. But my inward man strives to do Gods will but this other law wars against my mind and brings me into the captivity of sin which dwells in me. So with my mind I serve the law of God; but my flesh the law of sin. O wretched man (throws up my arms) that I am! Who shall deliver me from this? Help me Lord! Thank God for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the blood that he shed for my redemption. Romans 7:14-25 (from my heart to the ear of God)
